I'm glad I didn't hate the Battlestar finale so much it ruined the entire show for me. There are some badass episodes in that show. In fact the only part I remembering thinking was weird in the finale was the robot footage at the end. I sort of figured there wasn't gonna be a nice bowtie for all the threads they started with Starbuck, Hera, etc given how S4 had gone.

For me, BSG was about the journey not the destination. They could've revealed that Tigh was just Adama's long lost son in a rubber mask in the finale and it won't undo the episodes where BSG drops into New Caprica's atmosphere, or Starbuck breaks out of the human farm, or Baltar wins his trial. Worth rewatching for me.

There were bad episodes in every season, but seinfeld is my favorite show ever and the finale sucks, it doesn't make the whole show retroactively bad. Unless you watch earlier episodes just sitting there dwelling over what's going to happen at the end with the angels at all that or whatever you disliked the most, in which case I guess you're bringing it upon yourself. (note that I watched BSG after it had all aired, might've felt differently if i had watched it live)
