They were both poisoned. She spent the last few years building up an immunity to cyanide powder.But unfortunately she fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" and "Never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line", but only slightly less well-known is that "you don't kill your husband BEFORE he collects his lottery winnings."
