UberDave: I thought rocks were supposed to protect us.

GAT_00: Ennuipoet: Whew. D.C.'s roots are showing. Stay classy nation's capital!Yeah, I suspect those people aren't from DC. More likely Mississippi by way of Stormfront.
Psycoholic_Slag: Were the assault rocks or hunting rocks? Makes a difference.
kronicfeld: That's sure to be as effective as "never put salt in your eyes."
CapeFearCadaver: Holy crap, Subby; you weren't farking kidding!!!I don't think anyone has actually told the kids that it was wrong. Raised by a single parent because the other is running from child support or in jail, the single mom is too busy working several jobs to teach them right from wrong. How would they know not to do it unless someone tells them.

faeriefay: Ok so maybe this is an obvious question, why are these rocks being thrown?
genepool lifeboat: That and"I have an idea: take away their welfare and they'll be too busy starving to throw rocks. win win!"I don't want to live on this planet anymore

MythDragon: If throwing rocks as busses is wrong, I don't want to be right.CSB.I was probably about 11. My brother and his friend was about 8. We like gentley tossing rockish objects at cars back then. One day my brother flings Dive-Dive (The submarine Gobot) at a car. Turns out it was an undercover detective. Lights go on, car slams to a halt. We are so screwed. My brother and his friend take off running. But suddenly, my cunning 11 year old mine forms a plan. I stay put. The cops gets out and starts yelling at me for throwing things at cars.Me: I had nothing to do with that.Cop: Yes you did! You and those two other kids were throwing things at my car!Me: I have no idea who those kids are.Cop: Bullshiat! You where standing there with them.Me: I was waiting to cross the street, when they walked up. One of them said "hey watch this" and threw that thing at your car. Don't you think I I was with them, I would have have run off too instead of waiting her for you to get me?Cop: ...oh...well I guess that makes sense. And you say you don't know who they are?Me: Nope. Never saw them before.Cop: Okay. Just don't let me catch you throwing things.Me: No problem. Have a good day.And then he left. See I knew If we all ran, he would have caught us, and that would mean ass-beatings. By staying there, I got myself out of trouble, and gave them time to get away. Now you might think I got away without learning a lesson. Well I did. That time. When I was 16 I hit a car with a handful of gravel, and the guy in the car did not care for it. So much so that he pulled a gun on us and started blasting at us as we where hauling ass through the woods. That was the last time I ever threw rocks at cars.
stlbluez: genepool lifeboat: That and"I have an idea: take away their welfare and they'll be too busy starving to throw rocks. win win!"I don't want to live on this planet anymoreThis makes you not want to live her.THIS.Not the act itself by a bunch of hoodlums thats so common the transit service is considering stopping the service, and police have to start a communication campaign to try to end it...But this comment ?? cause THIS guy (or girl) is the real problem with society, right ?/fine then.//please go.
genepool lifeboat: Yeah, I have a problem with people who want to see others starve to death and call it a WIN.
