maxwahrhaftig: These guys are cranks. Despite their generic-sounding name, all they do is push this idea that they went incredibly far off course and landed on this island. There's no evidence to support this and all of the evidence points elsewhere. They're something of a joke among actual experts in aviation history, which probably explains why they're on Discovery.

To be fair, there are just as many other cranks out there making money publishing books about how TIGHAR are a bunch of cranks. The entire thing is just a little cottage industry at this point.

I guess spring must be in the air, after a winters nap the Earhart investigators start putting out press relaease in hopes of finding another years funding.

Ghastly: I think it's pretty amazing that she was able to fly a plane at all being completely blind and deaf.

After taking an axe to her parents, she really had no choice.
