Ivo Shandor: It's at Terrafugia, waiting until you can scrape together enough money to afford one.
BattleFrenchie28: I like how dystopia is more likely than utopia./has a sad now
taurusowner: We're going to need to invent sophisticated traffic control artificial/virtual intelligences before flying cars ever become realistic. Humans cannot handle cars that stay on the ground without killing tens of thousands of people per year. Add the vertical dimension and the nightmare expands substantially. Flying cars may very well be possible, but only if computers are driving them and we're just along for the ride.
Mangoose: If you followed the advent and proliferation of air travel, you would understand why you will not be getting a flying car anytime soon.
Quantum Apostrophe: buckler: "What, no QA here? "It's too hard, so we shouldn't try.""That's what you loons say about life extension. What I say is that we KNOW it's not possible to do any of the space foolishness.
Quantum Apostrophe: Farker Soze: Wow... "Delusional" is just a word in the DSM. You... You're on a whole other level. Sweating, crying over your sci-fi posters, eagerly calling your pasty friends masturbating over the death asteroid, chanting in your Space Church about the species, thinking that absolutely nothing has changed in 3000 years, but that a few test pilots that soaked up 5% of the USA's GDP for 10 years somehow means something... Sick. Very, very sick.It won't be pretty when in 50 years you'll still be here, right on this horrible mud ball you hate so much, probably having been to the doctor's at least once to get some antibiotics that didn't exist 3000 years ago, and realizing that your space whackjob dreams will. never. ever. happen. ever. even until the Sun is a cold iron ball.../So please, go back to how we lived 3000 years ago if you think nothing's changed//I "lose" in the sense that you're so far gone, it's best just to agree with you, otherwise you might start cutting yourself///Or better yet, go to the Moon, but don't ever come back or ask for a single atom from Earth, you suicidal, idiotic space child.
Bisu: In the next 150 years will we develop the technology to have fark ignore comments that QUOTE someone on your ignore list? Speaking of which, I didn't see replicators (that's what 3d printers are, right?) on that list.
Farker Soze: Bisu: In the next 150 years will we develop the technology to have fark ignore comments that QUOTE someone on your ignore list? Speaking of which, I didn't see replicators (that's what 3d printers are, right?) on that list. The future is here! Go to myFark/Tools, and check Ignore posts from unignored users that mention users on your ignore list (Exact match of bolded names) and Ignore posts from unignored users that contain logins on your ignore list (Fuzzy match of names).Of course, if you have me ignored, you won't see this. Which is ironic, but I don't blame you. I'd ignore me also, given the chance.
dennysgod: 2015, a universal digital currency in the United States of Derpastan, I think not.
rev. dave: An AI recognized as a corporation. 2 evils for the price of one.
jeffjo52: 95% of you farking morons can't drive a normal car, a flying car is way beyond your skills
