You can only impersonate Jack Nicholson so long before it gets old.

IMHO, Heathers was his best flick.

B.L.Z. Bub: The Repeated Meme: Not getting the hate.

/True Romance is one of the best movies of all time
//He hasn't been making good movies for a while
///still could come back

Looked up his age and wow, he's only 43. Seemed like he should be a lot older. He's not too old to have a comeback.

So does that mean Lindsey Lohan has a chance still?

He's also something like 4'6" - that combined with not staying young forever is a killer. His best role was as communications officer aboard the Excelsior.

Apos: Interview With A Vampire seems to be the best of the bunch(probably because of minimal screen time).

That part was actually River Phoenix's but he croaked in front of the Viper Room so Slater took the role and gave his salary to charity. So that was cool.

The part in Windtalkers where his head comes flying off was pretty awesome.

HempHead: Am I the only one who liked his tv show "the forgotten"?

I really liked it, so I was not surprised when it was cancelled.

He was also in The Wizard.

I really don't have anything else to add, except The Wizard is a guilty pleasure.

Heathers and Pump Up The Volume were genuinely good teen movies.

I still have a soft spot for Broken Arrow because of that underground nuclear detonation scene.

Also Heathers.  He was perfect in that.

Apos: poonesfarm: Apos: I thought Slater's career had hit rock bottom after the cinematic turd that was Alone In The Dark. Looks like I was wrong.

One word: Kuffs.

"Kuffs" had its moments and it's a certainly a masterpiece compared to the rest of his filmography. Interview With A Vampire seems to be the best of the bunch(probably because of minimal screen time).

Eh, it gets bonus points for Milla. I will admit I have a soft spot for Pump Up the Volume and Gleaming the Cube.
