I don't mean that surfers are called my ass, it's just that they're not called GROMS. The correct term for this sad 80's attempt at 'coolness' by poseurs who've never drank from the dirty ol' Wedge in February is "grommet". Also, surfers these days look back on those old terms as mostly shark-jumpingly obsolete. n00bs are called n00bs these days, since most surfers now use that thing called the internet. F*cking haoles.

Unlike Facebook, parents have to OK their children to sign up for GromSocial land they receive emails of all their children's postings and correspondence on the site.

Ah, so the young user will have to open a second email address pretending to be his parents. Yup...fool-proof plan ya got there, kid.
