Marcus Aurelius: "Restore American freedom"?You mean they're going to bring the 4th amendment back?

Orange-Pippin: FTA: According to data just published by the United Nations, in 2011 China surpassed, for the first time, the United States as the world's leading manufacturer.Response Blocked:The Bring Jobs Home Act would provide a 20% tax break for the costs of moving jobs back to the United States and would rescind business expense deductions available to companies that are associated with the cost of moving operations overseas..."There has to be a Tea Party member on Fark that can explain this.
undernova: No clicks for TownHall. What's this about?

randomjsa: Vodka Zombie: Oh... Bless your little hearts, Teabaggers. You guys are just adorable when you think you're smart enough to accomplish something more mentally taxing than scribbling your illiteracy on a poster board.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_elections,_2010http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2010/results/state/Minority Leader Pelosi and Majority Leader Cantor, along with Speaker Beohner all beg to differ.
coeyagi: I will withhold judgment until a random poster or a poster who is fond of dairy products weighs in about this. Surely they can shed light on to how us libs are wrong about everything.
mentula: where were these people when bush was president? y'know, warrantless wiretapping, total information awareness, TSA, endless war, all those liberty destroying things? (speaking of expanded government, medicare part D too, but i'm not complaining about that)
Dear TownHall editors,Please contact the person who is the subject of this article and this thread. I am sure, with her unfailing support, the Tea Party will achieve all of their goals and more.We eagerly await the comedic results.Signed,The Sober Citizens of America
hubiestubert: What "freedoms" are these folks fighting for exactly?Economic freedom? Because promoting corporate profits over local growth actually limits social mobility and competition in the markets.Religious freedom? Because freedom of religion means that the government doesn't interfere with anyone's right to worship--or not worship--no matter their faith. That means Mormons, Muslims, Buddhists and even atheists have the right to pursue their faith without support or hinderance.Privacy? Because a lot of the laws that TEA Party patriots seem to advocate run exactly counter to that.Equality? Because championing the cause of those who want to see limits on the rights of citizens to marry doesn't sound much like "freedom"...
liverleef: The tea party is destroying the GOP. Keep up the good work.
