buzzcut73: I've had this happen to me once, in downtown Honolulu, GPS turned me on to a street that was a bus/emergency vehicle only street.
HiFiGuy: "Make a U-turn when possible."
Suckmaster Burstingfoam: Yet another strike against the concept of the self-driving car.On the plus side, the tendency of the sheeple to rely on GPS units and websites to tell them how to get to their destination, and the tendency of these devices to just stick you on the largest highway, means that the county roads are almost empty. If you're good with a map you can exploit this. Has anyone else noticed this?
ElBarto79: The faster I go the quicker I can get to a gas station officer, it's common sense!!
majestic: How do they know where we are going? They must be drunk.
buzzcut73: I've had this happen to me once, in downtown Honolulu, GPS turned me on to a street that was a bus/emergency vehicle only street. Had there been signage on the street I turned from, instead signage you could only see when you'd already made the turn, I wouldn't have turned, because I actually do look at the signs and such for one ways, etc when using a GPS./Didn't get caught by the cops, so no harm no foul.
ElBarto79: The 17-year-old P-plater told police he was speeding because his car was running out of petrol."
fusillade762: I went the wrong way on a street once when I first moved to San Francisco. Immediately came face-to-face with a police car. He stuck his head out the window and screamed "WHERE'D YOU LEARN TO DRIVE?!?!" I told him I was new to the city and he let me go. No GPS was involved, just bad directions. And who's the asshole who decided it was a good idea to put two one-way streets, "Bryant" and "Brannon", right next to one another??
Skywolf Philosopher: Hahaha, the other dude was speeding cause he was low on gas! I don't think that's going to fly with the police.
Brontes: Don't think or anything. Just blindly do what an inanimate object tells you.
Glancing Blow: My GPS almost got me killed about five years ago by sending me up an active logging road near Coos Bay, Oregon.
