2wolves: Mr. Ryan is running already?

How do you think he finishes marathons in record times?

You know, I'm guessing you never even bothered to READ that book considering you posted such a sophomoric and dull image like that. I'll bet that sort of wit goes over real well in your Communal Basket Weaving 101 class but the people who actually bothered to, you know, pick it up and turn the pages got the message you so flippantly disregard:

It's only okay to be a douchebag.

Citrate1007: More staged photo ops of pretending to volunteer at a soup kitchen?

No, no, no. He learned his lesson. Now he's going to volunteer like he's running a marathon.

I thought the GOP articulated its compassion quite well.

Millennium: Frankly, he's right. Liberals in general have been disturbingly successful in twisting the popular definition of compassion to convince people that conservatives are not compassionate at all: a key tactic in branding conservatives as the villains of the world. Un-twisting that definition will be vital to retaining what power conservatism still has, with an eventual eye toward rebuilding.

"There are 47 per cent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what ... who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims. ... These are people who pay no income tax. ... and so my job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives," Romney said.

Feel the compassion.

"Are we so out of touch? No, it's the voters who are wrong."

He should have better explained why they took retribution on a soup kitchen that didn't take kindly to being broken into and used as a prop. I'm sure the people it feeds will welcome an articulate answer.
