Slaxl: Coco LaFemme: When is Gangnam Style going to reach Macarena-levels of critical mass? I thought we, as a culture, were about done with this.

I'm pretty sure Gangnam Style reached said mass a month or two ago. Politicians are always the last to try milking something for publicity.

I seem to remember Al Gore attempting to Macarena at one point.

Perfect opportunity for the Peterson Farm Brothers to hijack the sound system at the White House and instead share their message about the importance of farmers and agriculture to the rest of the population.

ChipNASA: Oh *THIS* is going to go over well....

Does Psy Hate America????

Psy Hates the US Military

(linkey pops)

his 2004 hit " Kill those fuscking Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives
Kill those fuscking Yankees who ordered them to torture
Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers
Kill them all slowly and painfully."

Yeah... A military blog site that I follow has been raising a stink about the anti-American Psy thing. The Republicans will have a field day with this when Psy makes his appearance at the White House. Fox News will be talking about how Obama is playing host to an anti-American protestor.

Psy -- just like everyone else -- is entitled to his opinions and he's entitled to express them. Maybe he still feels the same way now that he did ten years ago. Who knows? But more importantly, who cares? He certainly wouldn't be the first musician in the world to stir up controversy by being against something. But it doesn't matter -- somebody in the conservative news media is going to pick this up and make a huge stink out of it after it happens.

I just read a story on tmz about him writing a song about killing all American mothers and daughters and stuff. I can't do links from my phone but check it out. Not the kind of guy that should be in the white house.

Fark...oh Fark, why must you make me love and hate you so much at the same time? You make me feel want to hit you, but only because I love you and can't show my emotions in a non-abusive fashion. *Sigh*

I had been actively avoiding this damn video ever since it came out, and you finally got me today while I was eating lunch. Another small (very small because there isn't much left) part of my soul died at that moment when I realized that this video was actually more pathetic than I anticipated. Man I miss Celebrity Death Match, I think he would be perfect to fight Kesha, or Lady Gaga... it's amazing how far the bar can be lowered and yet still showered with adoration.
