He doesn't have anything to worry about. The trial will freeze as soon as it starts.

Its quite hilarious when you think of the paralells between him being present in Belize and being present on your computer.
At first, he's welcome and seems to be innocently being a welcomed addition. Things start getting weird and not making sense, he begins to cause big disruptions, but always seems to have an excuse. Next thing you know, other systems and people are totally pissed and someone turns up dead. You want him out of your country, but you cant find him. You keep seeing signs of him, but the amount of time you are spending looking for him is costing a fortune. You wish hed never shown up and just want your old way of life back. He tries to go next door to Guatemala, but they've already learned they want none of it.

Now just think of him in terms of his crappy software, Belize and Guatemala both computers and you will see history repeats itself. I wonder how this cycle will play out in Belizean prisons. Maybe theyll just delete the file and all remants.

macdaddy357: Is there any word on when they think Peter Norton will be apprehended.

I wouldn't be surprised if this whole thing turned out to have a Sixth Sense style twist ending.

Bathysphere: Did one of his ten girlfriends help rat him out? DRTFA

nope. Some lame-o reporter from Vice magazine didn't wipe their EXIF data from a photo upload.

It's really easy to find someone WHEN YOU GIVE AWAY THEIR GPS COORDINATES.

Well, the headline certainly clears up any confusion as to whether or not he was arrested by a girl scout troop or a pack of mimes.

That's right, a C. Sit on that one.

He needs to have a powwow with his legal representation. Perhaps a tribal voice can see him to justice.

Deacon Blue: themindiswatching: So I've been wondering...are the cops in Belize really as corrupt as McAfee claims? Or is this some elaborate setup for an eventual insanity plea?

They're pretty farking corrupt. They aren't really cops like you think of cops.

Cops like I think...
