I don't see why Scarborough is apologizing. Nate Silver was wrong.

His last forecast had Obama with 313 electoral votes. Wrong! He had Romney with 225 electoral votes. Wrong!

He gave Romeny a 9.1% chance of winning. Since Romney's actual chance of winning is 0%, that's wrong, too!

Nate Silver. Wrong on the math. Wrong for America.

BKITU: General Zang: cousin-merle: not5am: that pointed to mr. obama's doom

what happened to respecting the office if not the man?

Generally, you only refer to him as President Obama in first reference of article, which Joe did, then Mr. Obama for the rest. This is standard practice, not disrespect.

That is incorrect. This is not 2012, not 1950.

Standard modern journalistic practice is to use the title and full name upon first mention, and the last name alone for subsequent mentions. Also, "Mister" is no longer used as a title.

So, it's either President Barack Obama, or Obama. Just using President Obama might also be acceptable, but Mr. Obama is not an acceptable designation.

The New York Times still uses the "Mr. ____ on subsequent references" style to this day. It's not an uncommon journalistic style. The AP guide isn't an infallible style pope for all journalists.

I...I want to be so fashionable that someday, somewhere, I am referred to as the 'Infallible Style Pope'

If this apology isn't in the form of a suicide note I'm not really interested.

Yes, the liberals were feverishly clinging on to a deranged prediction that just happened to come true

I won't apologize to Mr. Silver for predicting an outcome that I had also been predicting for a year.

"Morning Joe" wraps up six-hour show with @joenbc: "We learned absolutely nothing. We have no idea who's going to win."

thornhill: for good or for awesome: I love seeing all these MSNBC liberals proven wrong and have to grovel for forgiveness.

Joe Scarborough was a Republican member of Congress.

Um, no. MSNBC is just like FOX news but for the Democrats. All they do is ape liberal talking points. How could it be possible they have a former Republican Congressman host a show that runs for 3 hours every morning?

Every time someone like Nate Silver wins an argument over the shallow mean asswits of the world (oh hi, Joe!) an angel gets its wings.

Now about that dead staffer in your office. Strange there was never any DNA sample taken. Florida Justice for the white congressman.

If you are blessed enough to be able to avoid political chatter on Twitter, you may not know that Silver became a sort of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi for liberals seeking peace and serenity during the turbulent 2012 presidential campaign. Just as the Beatles had the Maharishi to guide them through the tough times after the death of their manager Brian Epstein, progressives had Silver's New York Times blog to comfort them after the first presidential debate. My liberal friends spent countless hours manically refreshing the "538" blog every three minutes or so throughout most of October seeking reassurance that President Obama would win. Water usage on the Upper West Side took a dip during that time when progressives realized that bathing regularly would keep them away from the site.

Got that far. What an unmistakable asswipe. Next time someone tells you MSNBC is JUST LIKE FOX AHUR, ask them "Which FOX liberal is an insufferable asshole who gets 3 hours of airtime a day?"

Now start growing your goddamn mustache, Uncle Scar.

That's an apology? If I were to "apologize" to my wife like that I'd be sleeping on the couch for a week
