Android children wear grey. They work much harder than we do, because they're so frightfully clever. I'm awfully glad I'm a Apple, because I don't work so hard. And then we are much better than the Windows and Blackberries. Windows are stupid. They all wear green, and Blackberry children wear khaki. Oh no, I don't want to play with Blackberry children. And Palms are still worse. They're too stupid to be able to read or write. Besides they wear black, which is such a beastly color. I'm so glad I'm a Apple.

biyaaatci: He's already on the dark side, dude. I don't need to convert him. Although, I suppose I do have a vested interest in his purchasing a $20 os upgrade. My AAPL stock has taken a hit these last couple of months.

it just.... felt so dirty reading that.....

biyaaatci: You should be fine with this: Snow Leopard on Apple Store. If you decide you want to, you can update straight from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion. Lightroom should be fine on Snow Leopard, though. I'm no apple apologist, but I think one of the things they've done right (post 10.5, that is) is to charge a reasonable amount for the OS upgrades. I run 10.6 on a 2006 Core Duo Mini and 2007 iMac, and they work just fine.

Why did I read this in Barry White's voice, literally seeing him handing a glass of wine over and slowly moving towards AustinFarkin, caressing his arm, with a truly obvious twinkle in his eye.

I have an iPhone 5, and right now I am getting screwed by fragmentation of a different type: my Mac Mini won't run a version of iTunes that works with my iPhone without buying an expensive OS upgrade. Hey, no problem, I have an obsolete version of Windows sitting around, so I installed iTunes on that.

That's right: Apple provides iTunes 10.7 for defunct versions of Windows all the way back to XP, but not for my Mac that I bought three years ago. Bastards.
