What farker wouldn't request his last beer if the judge had ruled the defendant couldn't drink any more?

^Article is a bit more detailed, I'd say he's just a normal guy who happens to like to smoke pot, So we should totally put him in tight enclosed spaces with rapists and murderers, ect...

I, for one applaud him. And I hope his case brings even more attention on how ridiculous the prohibition is.

/Smokes weed for going on 12 years, Happy and not addicted.
//Smokes Cigarettes for only 4 years, addicted and wants to stop.

TFA: "offer to allow an Ohio drug defendant the chance to stay out of prison if he'd give up marijuana" ... "what to do with his trafficking case."

Obviously this can't be one of those cases where they bumped up "caught with joint" to "trafficking" because they had it on good authority that this guy shared a joint with a friend in exchange for pizza and beer. Because judges let *trafficking* sentences slide *all the time* on a Scout's Honor pledge to give up pot. And absent a slap on the wrist deal, those same judges often have to think long and hard about how to sentence a convicted drug trafficker.

Nope, not a trumped-up bullshiat charge and conviction whatsoever.
No siree.

Marijuana: clearly not at all addictive.

Great blanket statement, but not entirely accurate.

I used to be a regular pot smoker and then gave it up one day without a bat of an eye, I cant stop smoking cigarettes after trying several times using methods and medication. An old friend of mine cannot give up the weed but never had an issue quitting cigarettes.

Kid, move to Colorado of Washington. At least the voters in those states understand that pot isn't so bad. In fact, that it's illegal and alcohol isn't based on the "dangers" of the drug in question, is beyond stupid. And I believe that the "dangers" of pot are not the reason it's been outlawed, and remains so. That's just what they want us to believe.

I don't want to believe.

Oh well, hopefully the new measures in Colorado etc. will generate some good tax revenue. Maybe even bring a manufacturing base up north, Phillip Morris already knows it can convert it's cigarette rolleing machines into joint rollers.
