TeddyBallGame: But wasn't Sandy a manifestation of God's wrath toward the people of the Northeast for voting to kill babies and help the loathsome underprivileged?
dickfreckle: Jesus, this asshole actually laments that the president responded to a natural disaster. In his world, it would be preferable that Obama abandoned the victims.
brigid_fitch: And he still doubled-down on that asinine stance for the first few days of the the storm, changing his mind only when he saw how much praise Obama & FEMA were getting for their handling of the aftermath.
EvilEgg: They were just dying for this to be Obama's Katrina forgetting, of course, that Bush set the standard by which all future disaster responses will be judged. It really is a shame that Obama chose competent people to head the agency, now all they have is that he responded to efficiently.
Diogenes: The storm could make Obama look incredibly strong, but it won't make a difference if the people in the blue states affected are hampered when trying to vote.
Lumpmoose: Are you sure you want to go down that route, Republicans? Mitigating problems like Sandy will require seriously tackling climate change or implementing a Dutch-style system for controlling coastal floods. Both require Big Government™.
Boxcutta: Diogenes: The storm could make Obama look incredibly strong, but it won't make a difference if the people in the blue states affected are hampered when trying to vote.Fox News is trying very hard to make it appear as if FEMA's response has been entirely inadequate and that blame for everything from the storm itself through the lack of power lies squarely with Obama.
Pocket Ninja: TeddyBallGame: But wasn't Sandy a manifestation of God's wrath toward the people of the Northeast for voting to kill babies and help the loathsome underprivileged?Yes, but the hurricane was only God's messenger. The real punishment is going to be Obama's re-election. See, God is angry enough that he has chosen to essentially deny us the salvation that a Romney presidency would have brought, and we have only ourselves to blame.
monoski: Were NJ or NY ever in play for Rmoney?
Muta: Has anyone ever noticed how fat Christie is?
Diogenes: The storm could make Obama look incredibly strong
