KrispyKritter: Lunaville: My children receive a Science magazine for kids that featured an article this month about Dog TV: a television channel designed just for dogs. All the programming is designed to maximize the dogs' ability to see the images, to maximize a dogs' interest in the shows, and to be soothing to dogs. The dog owner who subscribes is supposed to put a television down at doggy eye level and leave the channel on when they are away from home.

My daughter was unimpressed, but my son wants to subscribe immediately. He and I have a similar sense of humor and we both laughed out loud when we saw the article.

when we had bunnies that needed a home each of them had a TV on 24/7, cartoons mostly. our Chow-Chow also likes likes TV but she favors snoozing even more.

Your bunnies watched television? That's hilarious.
We had a bunny for about seven years. Another family abandoned him when they moved away and he turned up in my childrens' vegetable garden. We found a stray dog the exact same day. My husband came home and was greeted by a strange dog in addition to the dog and three cats we already owned. He yelled and screamed all the way to the bedroom door. When he opened the door, the rabbit had jumped up onto the bed. He slammed the door and said "I'm losing my mind." He opened the door and the rabbit was on the bed staring at him. He said "You're trying to drive me crazy."

It was a good rabbit and provided years of solid bunny entertainment. We have only the two dogs now. The others died of old age.
