I think people should consider who they are going to have to listen to on the radio and TV for the next 4-8 years. During the GWBush years I don't think I heard the president speak more than a few seconds at a time before I would have to change the station to escape. I'm equal-opportunity about this, as I couldn't/can't stand to hear Al Gore for any length of time either. The Obama years have been blessed in this regard alone. Romney, I tune out immediately too. He always sounds like he's speaking through some tin-can telephone set, and his vocal cadence is intolerable.
