Excited about this.

Hoping there are games in Seattle. But if not I would travel to see some of these games. KC would be my most likely destination; soccer and Gates BBQ.

Hilarity_N_Sues: USMNT needs to hit Portland, especially if they want a homefield advantage. I would love to catch a Timbers game there.

I've been to a couple Sounder away matches at Jeld Wen. Great atmosphere but the place is a freaking closet. Seriously. It's not just a Sounder fan talking smack about the Timbers. Jeld Wen is a sub-standard soccer venue. The pitch is not FIFA regulation. I mean the pitch is noticeably too narrow. If Portland wants to host some of these matches they will likely have to expand the pitch at Jeld Wen.

And while they're at it they should increase seating capacity. I've read they have something like 15k+ waiting list for season tickets. More fans are good for the game. Yeah I know it's hip to keep playing in the same stadium and all but the Timbers have moved to the top tier of America soccer shouldn't their venue reflect that?
