2 Hookers and an 8 Ball: Maybe I'm missing something here, but twice in that article they seemed to say that if a girl wanted to a be a princess, that's a bad thing. Why?
rogue_L_chick: Guess it worked. My 12 year old son and friends are going to go as ML ponies...he chose Fluttershy. His dad (my ex) tried like hell to get him to change his mind, but he stuck to it and spent last night applying pink butterflies to a pair of yellow shorts he found at Goodwill. I have been enlisted as Derpy Hooves (I made paper bag footies while the shorts were being worked on). We also spent the majority of our crafting time talking about some chick named Emily he digs. It seems to really confuse his dad, that dress doesn't indicate sexual preference anymore, and everything is so fluid (can't think of a better term). As I live in the south, on the buckle of the bible belt...I find myself amazed and almost envious of how free these kids are. My little bro would have gotten his ass kicked for doing this. At school and at home. I told my kid so...it's important they know how far we've come...it seems that we are in danger of backsliding a lot these days.
