I just want one thing from the debate: Obama to mention that Romney had a 33% approval rating in Mass. after governing for 4 years. And, I would like him to mention that Obama is leading in Mass. by 12%, so, clearly, the people who know Romney's leadership the most are not impressed. Okay, two things I would like him to mention. Also, that Romney spent over a year in office out of state and on personal business, rather than governing. So, three things.

Maybe something about Romeny's 800 vetoes and being overridden like 99% of the time. That would be good.

Concern trolling, NPR?

That's why I'm not tempted to donate to your current pledge drive.

Yeah, watching the debates right now, it's AMAZING to see President Obama stumble and stammer his way through-oh wait, he's absolutely BURYING Romney's lies under a heaping helping of liberal, left-leaning FACTS.

Here's a novel idea:

Maybe the election should be more about what the candidates actually believe in and propose to do and less about how good they look when they try to sell it.

Modern society is clearly in the crapper when absolutely nothing matters but presentation.

Why are the people the most concerned about Obama being a dictator are also the most concerned about him not have a strong charismatic leadership?

James!: One bad debate and people are in hysterics.

Such is the way of the modern world and it's echo chamber:

*Watches debate on TV* - "Hey, Obama looked kinda out of it."
*Looks at twitter roll during debate* - "LOL Obama looks bored!"
*Pundits after debate* "Barack Obama prefers to think about palling around with terrorists, rappers, and arugula PAC donors than he does debating the real issues facing America!"
*The Internet Pundit* - Obama is afraid that the Masons are about to cast light on his evil cabal with Mexico, Canada, and the Moon men."
*Two week later "Deep Thinker" Concern troll*- "Is Barack Obama overrated as a speaker?"

King Something: /ask former presidents McCain, Kerry, Gore and Dole how well winning the first presidential debate worked out for them

To be fair, Gore and Kerry did win their presidential elections.

Is he the 'best' speaker? No.
Is he a good speaker? Yes.

A better question is do any of his potential budgetary plans actually include 'Math'? Yes.

James!: One bad debate and people are in hysterics.

They desperately want a horse race. Anyone who actually watched the first debate will tell you that Romney performed better than expected and Obama had a lackluster performance, whereas the "liberal" media (as well as the people who didn't watch the debate but did watch the highlights on the news) will tell you that Romney ran roughshod over Obama like a freight train of truthiness going full speed through a balsa wood wall of actual facts.

The only reason Obama seemed like this incredible orator was because he followed 8 years of George W. Bush.
Comparatively, he WAS incredible.

Bubba will always been my favorite though.
