Thing is, the way American business works these days, they could be 10th out of 10 surviving telecoms and they'll brag about "being consistently ranked in the Top 10 for customer satisfaction".

I switched to Verizon because my Sprint phone couldn't get reception at home. In Boston.

A Japanese guy who was educated in the West? Check.
A businessman who likes daring challenges compare to other typical Japanese business leaders? Check.
American-friendly? Check.
Owns a sports team in Japan? Check.
Has a great insight on the global renewable energy industry? Check.

He is a decent guy.

I welcome anything that would give competition to VZW and ATT.

also, I like the softbank guy, he was talking about a 300 year plan a while ago, nice to see companies who can think past the end of the current quarter.
