I'm surprised there isn't a kickstarter for real estate buys.

1 million people @ $100 each. you get a certificate, some other stuff, etc. ownership is given to a trust fund. after purchase it get set aside as a private wildlife preserve.

$12 = get certificate, emails, stickers, etc
$100 = get pieces of the island sent to you on your birthday
$1000 = get voting rights on board of trustees, 2 visitor's passes a year
$5000 = all the above plus a timeshare
$10,000 = docking rights

I don't know. I've always heard that no man is an island, so I assume that no group of men can be an archipelago.
