mahavishnunj: the most amazing part of this article is the fact that mike love, at the ripe old age of 137, is still trying to convince himself hes some kind of musician and actually mattered in that group. mike-you are the male yoko ono. you are talentless, couldve been replaced by just about anyone, and were lucky to be at the right place at the right time. die or retire and people might not hate you anymore. hes like elvis presley, he never wrote a goddamn thing himself, but elvis at least had stage presence i guess, this moron has a cap covering his stupid bald head for 50 years.

Not going to disagree with the Mike Love opinions, but come on.  Frank Sinatra didn't write songs either.  If you want to be both a singer and songwriter, cool.  But I'll never understand why people think its required.
