There are a lot of people here with a ridiculously inflated sense of the US President's security. Before the Colombian snafu, the Secret Service allowed the Salahis to bluff their way into a State dinner and put their arms around Biden. Before Obama, Bush wasn't much safer - al-Zaidi threw a shoe at Bush. He dodged; the Secret Service was caught so flat-footed that al-Zaidi got a second shoe off before being stopped.

These breaches are common. Well-thought-out assassination attempts by people who aren't being watched by the NSA/CIA are rare.

I play airsoft and the community is always worried about headlines like this

The gun control freaks are always looking for ways to shutdown anything "scary looking weapon" related. Airsoft is only lightly regulated right now, the only regulations federally are that they cannot be made in a way that they can be modified to fire real ammunition, and if they are being transported across state lines, then they MUST have a blaze orange ring at the end of the barrel at least 1/2 inch thick...

Official Airsoft Ohio events are community regulated though, and regulations are pretty tight for safety reasons. FPS limits, Full seal ansi rated eye protection, no full auto indoors, age limits, that sort of thing.

Decent airsoft guns, not the crap you would buy at walmart or Dick's sporting goods, are 95% scale replica's of real world modern arms and have removable blaze orange tips.

Good models are 1:1 weight and scale and are used by LEO and MIL for training.

Couple years ago the top manufacturer of professional training weapons (PTW for short) systema had to redesign their M4 receivers because the BATFE determined they could be slightly modified to fit internals of a real m4 and fire real ammunition. The recievers were milspec CNC billet aluminum. You couldn't get a Systema in this country for a year or so until they got BATFE approval, i think you can pick up new ones now for about $1200-$1500 depending on the dealer...

Because the models are so realistic, but they aren't real guns, they are very attractive to immature kids and teenagers who want to run around the park playing "Modern Warfare" and shoot them in full view of people...

Regulators in the gov't cream their panties over these kinds of stories because they get to regulate the "scary looking gun" replicas and toys into oblivion since they can't regulate the real ones.

uber humper: Fark Rye For Many Whores: Didn't Czech the crowd I see. Don't need those bodyguards anymore, you go be slobs somewhere else.

The body guards sound like a bunch of Turkeys. Good guards always stay Hungry.

Ooooh, didn't stick the landing.
