Q. Why did the hipster burn his mouth on pizza?
A. He ate it before it was cool.

Nadie_AZ: Meh. Real hipsters don't go to those places anymore. They are too popular.

Fry: "Why's everyone wearing those rings?"
Amy: "Guh! Because nobody wears them anymore! Rings are stupid!"
Fry: "I think they look cool!"
Amy: "Shh, don't let anyone hear you say that!"
Man: "Hey, did that lad just say rings are cool?"
Amy: "No. He said they're stupid."
Man: "Cool!"

OK, I'm ready to be a hipster. If people are willing to go this far to make fun of hipsters, there must be something really awesome there somewhere.

Warehouse District, New Orleans? Do you sprinkle heroin on your Sugar Smacks, full-of-horsesh*t-slideshow writer? The Warehouse is a yuppie neighborhood with some art galleries, like many other former industrial neighborhoods in a major cities in the USA (lofts). Nothing wrong with it; I hang out there all the time and even used to live there before being priced out. I was at Vic's Kangaroo Cafe just last night. But my point is that I know the writer has never even been to New Orleans, or if he/she has, never left Bourbon St. and relies on some stupid stat somewhere to form this decision. The Fauborg Marigny is your hipster goldmine (replete with reeking gutter punks from middle class families), as is much of the Bywater and lower Decatur St. in the Quarter (the last part of the Quarter not turned into condos or some garish nightclub owned by a Turk).

I can't even get through an inconsequential slideshow without my city being misrepresented.
