(The Blaze)   Glenn Beck points the blame for the consulate attacks squarely where it belongs: on a secret government plot to end YouTube comments forever. "Through the looking glass" apparently means "completely tasteless fearmongering after a tragedy"   ( divider line

Because People in power are Stupid: Stop being mean to Glenn Beck. You'll make him cry.

How much meaner do we have to be to make him take a long walk off a short pier?

mercator_psi: Wait, wasn't Glenn Beck the guy that may have raped and murdered a girl in 1990?

I can't quite recall.

I don't know. I don't think he would do something like that, but he's never denied it, which concerns me.

Oh Glenn.........I remember the good days, back in like 2002-2003.........when you were funny and not crazy batshiat insane and before you were mainlining pure derp into your veins....

BMulligan: Raharu: Apocalyptic Inferno: Glenn Beck is obviously an idiot, but the administration has been disingenuous and outright duplicitous on the nature of these attacks. Maybe you can tolerate your president lying to you, but I can't, no matter what party he's from. His Middle East foreign policy is continuing to prove to be disastrous.

How is the presidents overall middle east foreign policy related to the recent attacks?

In what way has it been disastrous?

Be specific, cite your sources.

Oh, and the lies - I'd very much like to see an example of the alleged lies you mention.

Continued insistence by the administration that the attacks were spontaneous when it's obvious that wasn't the case. The ignored warnings by Libyan security officials. The absurd insistence that these weren't terrorist attacks. I know Republicans think we're all morons, but it appears the Democrats do as well.

WizardofToast: God Is My Co-Pirate: Frankly, any administration that campaigned on a platform of ending all Youtube comments would have my vote forever.

This. Either that or something similar to this XKCD comic:

My God. There truly is a XKCD for everything.

GanjSmokr: BeesNuts: GanjSmokr: Does it really even matter anymore at this point?

None of this matters anymore. I mean. Vote and all, cause it's important. But no, to answer your question, it doesn't even matter what the "it" you're talking about is. It doesn't matter.

I've been feeling this way more and more lately.

Best to spend my time and energy on things that are actually important to me. To hell with this kabuki world and all of its actors.

Nailed it. If politics are interesting or engaging for you, pay super close attention. Otherwise, you're just sending yourself to an early grave by being hyper focused on shiat like this.

Don't lose perspective, is the lesson of this year. Millions of people around the country are losing their collective shiat over TRULY trivial things. Frankly, most of them probably have bigger fish to fry. Like making sure they have the cash to pay for a new timing belt, or winterizing their lawnmower. Or maybe pulling together the last couple harvests and deciding what to do with all your veggies. Or hugging their kid.

/I'm pretty passionate about politics because I love history, and politics are an opportunity to watch history unfold in real time, which gives me better perspective when reading about Italy circa 1675.
