I met Vile Rat in a fleet once. He was yelling at the fleet commander to stop being retarded and getting people killed (thanks DBRB). Seemed like a really great guy.

This hit me really hard when it happened. I didn't find out until Tuesday morning that the random "state official" was VR. I've been playing Eve since 2006, and ... this isn't what's supposed to happen. Video games are my escape from reality, and when reality leaks - or, is violently thrust - into fantasy, it's very jarring.
