Expolaris: All this shiat does it remind me of a girl i was hitting on in college,

Met her at the library, small talk here and there. Weeks go by, kept talking. Eventually get to texting and things seem to be going well....when she reveals that she a "transethnic animal soul" to use her words. That she had the beating heart and soul of a proud lioness like from the Lion King. She wanted me to join her...pride of fellow lions....not all of which were the same gender as their "inner self."

No matter how long it's been since i've gotten laid, i was not that desperate.

But you could've grabbed her by the scruff of her neck, blew your load in a few seconds, rolled off and said 'What, that's how lions do it' and then told her to go hunt for some goddamn food.

I'm SOOO glad this story is out there spreading awareness. Baka haters just don't wakarimasu (understand) people who are different than them. I was confused for a long time but after I watched the super kawaii show My Little Pony: Nakama is Mahou, I realized I was in fact a a Japanese pegasi living in Equestria in a previous life. I was actually there when it was founded, and helped defeat the Windigos and unite with the other clans.

I have a blog I started to share with everyone and create a safe place for others like myself and there are no kimoi gaijin to make fun of us.

He might present as human, yes, but really he's a "fictive and otherkin who, in previous lives, has been a Deku Scrub and a dark elf."

"During the rectification of the Vuldronaii the Traveller came as a very large and moving Torb. Then of course in the third reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex supplicants they chose a new form for him, that of a Sloar. Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you ! "

fluffy2097: Then I was watching Lain and there is a scene with an alien in it. Damn near had a heart attack.

Hahahaha. In college I got a sinus infection and had a bad fever, and one night I had a horrible fever dream where I was trapped in an enclosing organic pouch studded with thousands of rippling intestinal vilii. Fast forward a year later and I went to party at a friend's house, and as I walk in the living room the anime playing on the TV shows a young woman being consumed BY THAT EXACT METHOD. My head assploded.

CSB: Back in 1992 when I was online a lot playing MOOs, MUDs, and the like, I had met several people at nearby colleges. Once I went on a road trip to visit them with a friend of mine. The most entertaining group we ever ran into was a bunch of folks down in Connecticut. The stand-outs in that crowd were a sophomore chick who practiced Wicca, shaved half her head, but by all other accounts was the hottest chick I have ever seen.

Her friend was very odd though-- she thought she was a vampire. It was a Saturday and we were playing Frisbee on the quad when the vampire chick (who was wearing hat, sunglasses, gloves, long sleeve shirt and jeans on a rather warm day) started to complain that her sun exposure was at a maximum and she would soon die if she didn't get inside. Her friends acted as if this was an actual emergency and we went back inside. Later in the evening we went to get dinner and she ordered steak tips. She requested them raw, and when the restaurant wouldn't go for it, settled for "really rare" telling them that any blood should be sufficient.

The moral of the story is there are farked up people on the Internet and this is not a new thing.

tlchwi02: apparently the odd kids/teens from the pre-internet days who used to embrace wicca or other counter-culture groups as a way to find acceptance now go on tumblr and other blog spots and claim they are really animals, fictional creatures from literature or games or pop culture. This would be generally as harmless as the wiccan kids or the goths were, except they apparently think that their struggle is on par with people like transgenders, which can have the impact of cheapening the real struggle those folks face by making the entire concept come across as flippant or silly.

Big Beef Burrito: I don't even want to ask Gawker.

Someone summarize.

A bunch of people suffer from dissociative disorders, but have the misfortune of living in the internet age; so their actions go from a private matter not discussed outside of the immediate neighborhood/town to easy access by any number of internet users. Gawker, sensing a opportunity to mine clicks, writes an exploitative article that satiates the primitive need of people to belittle the strange behavior of others in order to feel superior.
