Booga booga booga!

The bulletin, which was obtained by CNN, says that anarchists could try to use improvised explosive devices.

So could the police. So could the pizza delivery guy. Given our recent history that's just as likely. The only anarchists who might hypothetically do this are the ones who give the fewest farks about politics.

targeting corporations and identifying hotels where delegates were staying.

"targeting" and "identifying" oh no! How dare people consider protesting at a place where they might expect to find the people they disagree with.

The bulletin says that law enforcement agencies believe most protesters at the conventions will obey laws and not commit violent acts, but that anarchists are the most likely exceptions.

Therefore anyone who gets arrested is automatically a terrorist.

materials that could be used to make improvised explosive devices,

such as half the cleaning agents in your house

Anarchists often research potential targets, according to the bulletin.

So sinister!

The bulletin says the suspected anarchists conducted surveillance and did research on the Internet

Research. ON THE INTERNET. What is this world coming to, when people who want to acquire information look in places where they could expect to find that information?

WTF is this photo of? Where was it taken and in what context?

They're probably Americans because they have the "really awful, totally-missing-the-point" bloc. I found the same site as THX 1138 so it's definitely older than 2010. Actually, the image name on THX 1138's site's version is "ny-alleged-anarchists-82804" so if 8/28/04 is a date then that suggests the 2004 RNC. Also, there's a version of it that has a Life magazine watermark, but I can't find the original.

CNN, you suck for using that photo with this story.

Love the guy with the umbrella. Don't want to bet sunburnt while rioting...
