Those Animusic music videos are all incredible. I have both of the DVD's.

They're relatively inexpensive too

I do to, my kids love them. The oldest asked his music teacher if he could bring one to school for fun day. She loved them too.

I just asked him and he said Pipe Dreams and Pipe Dreams 2 are his favorite

I love these DVDs. My and my roommate used to get all farked up and watch them over and over.... Some of the songs are actually very well crafted, there's a lot of progressive odd-time meters happening, as well as some cool melodic trickery. The first track off of Animusic 2 has a weird 7/4 beat that can be a little disorienting at first until you really catch the pulse.

I skimmed through it. I saw no spiders or birds. I presume the picking utensils were the "spiders"?

Our local Fry's shows these to demo the TVs and home theater gear - I usually get stuck watching 10-15 minutes of it when I'm just passing by...

Some of this tune reminds me of Alan Parsons Project for some reason.
