Is this like when the Albuquerque PD puts out a suspect description like "Hispanic male, 22-30 with neck tattoos and a white tank top, last seen on Central between Carlisle and Wyoming"?

/At least once a week
//They should really find that guy.

dletter: I assume this was in a letter or something? Because, I am trying to imagine the scenario where he says this in person...

I imagine it was probably done via phone. Or text message.

"Goin 2 kill my gf lol"

Daner, who is stationed at Fort Lewis in Washington, then told his supervisors that he was heading to Colorado Springs to kill his ex and her new boyfriend, then kill himself.

I assume this was in a letter or something? Because, I am trying to imagine the scenario where he says this in person...

Daner: "Hi, I am going to take a few days leave, ok?"
Boss: "Sure, what you have planned?"
Daner: "I'm going to go kill my slutty ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend, and then I'll probably kill myself"
Boss: "Well, have fun, see you Monday!"

"Told" is poor verbiage for the article if it was written though, at least to me, that insinuates being spoken to.

When people would find out where I was stationed over in the past, they would usually ask "my cousin (insertname) is a Marine, do you know him?" After making a judgement call on race my response would always be "yeah, he's a (insertrace) guy, about 5'5" to 6", in shape, short hair right?".
They'ed say yes and walk away pleased.

God I'm confused.

I'd snark and say that murderous rampages are the job description, but I'm pretty sure that if I did say that, it would be proof that I hate America.

According to police, the former fiance told suspect Joshua Johnston Daner via text that she no longer wanted to get married and was ending the relationship.

You don't end an engagement via text, just wrong. She's got it coming.

Clearly this will also be faced with the gentle, rational thought. On the second thought we should probably ban military service before something such as this happens again!
