What people fail to realize is that Han is still the scoundrel. Look, Greedo fired a warning shot. He was five feet away from Solo, there's no way he missed on accident. He wanted Han to know he could kill him right then and there, if he wanted. He gave him a chance. Han though, rogue he is, would have none of it, and fired the fatal shot.

Weep for Greedo - he was only doing his job. He pleaded with him. He gave him options. And he died for it. And his little boy, Q-Bert, who had been kidnapped and held as a ransom by Jabba the Hut, lost his father and ultimately committed suicide off by jumping the side of the dark Pits of Tatooine.

It's a very sad story, people.
