brap: Is he freon bail?
Runs_With_Scissors_: Would it be rude to point out that it's 60 degrees and overcast at noon, here in San Francisco? I'm freezing and have a sweatshirt on.
Diogenes: His concrete cell will be nice and cool.

gerbilpox: I've been without power in DC for 3 days, but I still didn't threaten my repairman with death.I gave him the option to chew off his foot to escape. He's free to choose.

PainfulItching: South Louisiana here.... We didn't have a winter. Mercury has been above 70 since March.Only 97 today. 90% humidity. It's like being slowly potroasted.I feel sorry for the group of black horses (flock? flick? whatever) down the road from me - one lonely tree for shade. One more reason I'm glad I'm not livestock.
ansius: Yep, an armed society is a polite society.Oh, but this wouldn't have happened if the repairman was also armed... (no, then we would have had a completely different situation.)
Iceboxxx: Just fixed my AC last Tuesday after the capacitor went out after trying to cool the top floor of the house in 105 degree weather while the oven was on to clean itself. Never had a chance. Took about 15 minutes to figure out what was wrong with it, took another 3 hours to find a place that would actually sell me a 25 dollar part. Every place I called told me that they would install it for me but they wouldn't sell it to me, jerks. Just glad that the house has two ACs, one for each floor and we only had to camp sleep downstairs the first night. Yes, our house is weird and we have the kitchen on the second floor. People in the Las Vegas Area do not know how to layout a house.
