Great Porn Dragon: Tachikomas

It's my understanding that with few exceptions, spiders you meet inside are inside spiders, not spiders who wandered in. We've been living side by side with spiders for a few ten thousand years now, in a kind of touch-and-go symbiosis: we provide shelter and food bits for their prey, and they keep a lot of other critters we don't like under control. I consider them important house servants for this reason, one of the best natural pest control methods in existence. We mostly don't see them, but when we start seeing them more, it usually means it's mating season for that species and they're out cruising. The number you see out at that point is probably a fair indicator of the number of pests they're controlling the rest of the time. If you see more than a few, you probably want to keep those guys around.

Oldiron_79: well invertibrate fighting is taking the place of dog and/or cock fighting in some areas because well, with inverts its considered feeding the loser to the winner rather than fighting and thus legal.

That's an interesting legal theory. If dogs and chickens ate each other after fights, I assure you it would still be illegal.

ladyfortuna: Be careful relating this deal though, some Farkers will say it's the 'stupidest thing I've ever read'.

You could post the secret to happiness itself, and some zero will slag it. The world is filled with worthless losers, and Fark is no different.

Spiders in my house and I have a deal. They get the fireflies and the bugs, they get free rein to make webs in the corners. It works, and I respect their contribution to the house. I demand that they work for their keep...

Remind me not to come over.
