I applaud that action, unfortunately it is a guaranteed lawsuit. Not saying a successful lawsuit, but it's going to be a pain in the ass for the guy.

Where in that video does the kid harass a girl? All I see him do is put his hand into his sleeve and then veer of to the other side of the hallway.

2012-06-04 8:46:11 PM
He's going to get his ass sued and he'll probably be fired.

Unless something happened out of view that we don't know about, he's farked and so is the school.

Yup. From that video, it looks like he physically accosted a student, the student pushed him off, and then he overreacted to the student's self-defensive move and beat his ass for no real reason. It'll probably be painted as "just another angry black man abusing his power and taking out his frustrations on that poor white child..."

OK, OK...what if we use the $10,000 to, er, surgically transform the principal here into, er...some kind of a lobster-like creature?

Until we get the rest of the story or some more video, I'll side with the administrator.

I love it when the kid's friend walks over and half-heartedly tries to push the principal away, but ends up just laying hands on.

That's a lot of effort. For best results, grasp the bastage's ear between one thumb and forefinger, and place your other thumb and forefinger up his nose. Grasp firmly. If he resists (which in my case he cannot), 1) stomp the bastages instep, 2) release the nose and crack him in the windpipe, and if that fails 3) drop him and clamp his port side juggular until the little farker passes out.

But once you've got his ear and his nose, I don't care if you're 5'4", he's going to follow you.

Well, it's old news. But I believe the principal was wrong in his actions in terms of over reaction.

Unless you are stopping violence-then by all means.

Clearly, it was more of a half-nelson or modified cobra clutch than a headlock.

I guess with the context, which this thread provided, he is a pretty damn good principal. But just going from the video, which I watched long before reading the comments, he reminded me of any principal of any school I went to. Except in high school they would handcuff you and throw you into a wall or two. We usually had it coming though.

Because they have the responsibility to maintain order since their do-nothing shiat-for-brains parents haven't raised their precious snowflakes to behave.

When the principal confronts you and you shove him back, it's game over punk.

Your little snowflake is not the apple of everyone's eyes.

Fells maintains he tackled Boutiller because the student was taking inappropriate pictures of a girl with his cellphone, which he refused to hand over to Fells. He said Boutiler became physical with him first.

If that was your daughter, whose side would you be on?

Personally, I like the Japanese schools.

The rules are:
Uniforms.
No Cellphones.
Undyed hair.

You come in without a uniform, they make you go home or at least borrow the part you're missing.

You have a cell phone at all, it spends the day in the teacher's room.

You come in with dyed hair, they'll sit your ass down and dye it right back to black.

After a few rules like that, shiat almost never happens because outside of those dozen or so very strict rules (No candy, no dangerous items, no fighting) there aren't any more rules. You can headlock your buddy and slam him into the wall as long as you're both amicable about it and don't hurt the wall. The teachers will just smile and ignore it. But if you had a cell phone and were taking upskirt shots, the headlock would be the BEST part of your day.

/Actually, the Japanese lighten up a lot as you go south until, you hit Nagasaki and they level off at some of the nicest folk in the whole country. Okinawa is basically Japan's Hawaii. Technically part of the country, but really just the same beach folk you find in every island nation.

I'm thinking the principal might just get off on this one. He seemed to play it pretty cool, blocking the students path so he can't just walk away (waited for the kid to react, which was slap the principal's hand away). At that point, it's self defense. Had the kid actually complied with rules (I.E. follow the principal to his office), it wouldn't have to escalate to having to force a kid (who's supposed to listen to authority) somewhere. I mean seriously, if that's the case, what is faculty supposed to do when kids don't listen?

I didn't see any beating. He subdued him.

shiat like that happens all the time in school, and captured on film. Unless the kid has actual injuries, there are no damages (you don't have civil rights in school). No lawyer will take the case - it's a waste of time.

Yes, the kid's getting manhandled. But I can think of all kinds of likely reasons for that, nearly all of them justifiable. And unless the other staff are also criminally minded, they seem to understand and agree with what's going on, which is a strong clue to me that they know what they're doing.
