I have a friend-of-a-friend acquaintance who hasn't worked a day since flunking out of law school in 1996. He lives off an allowance from his dad, a doctor. He has a smug sense of superiority for some reason, reminding everyone that he passed the Mensa exam and while unemployed he could probably do whatever he felt like career-wise (even with a 16 year resume gap). For 10 years he's been telling people that he's working on a novel. We occasionally ask him how it's going and he tells us that he has a lot of it done "conceptually" but it involves 9/11 so people "just aren't ready for it yet."

Now, I hate Zombie crap. Almost as much as I hate vampires and suburban housewife porn novels. But even so, I wish you the best of luck because unlike some people I know, you got off your ass and followed through with writing a book. I'd like to write something of worth some day, but the closest I've come is getting an "acknowledgement" credit in a textbook for psychology. So sincere kudos to you.

After that horrific set of BIE, I tried to buy another copy, but Amazon told me I shouldn't.

God bless you, brother.
