It's not our fault you're so hyper about texting; ask for a transfer if you can't follow protocol.

I drove a diesel Lynx for a courier company. Oh no. Repressed memories becoming unrepressed.... GAH!

But 42 mpg IIRC

Still not as bad as the diesel Chevette. Oh no. Even more unrepression.

Never ever use #2 diesel in the winter.

Here in Amurca we'd make that overpass a toll overpass with a ten-scat minimum charge and a 20-scat surcharge for animals over 100 lbs GBW.

This is just up the road from me, though i've not managed to see one of these elusive kitties.

There's a number of those overpasses (and tunnels) built in the park so the wildlife can cross the highway without becoming hamburgers:

We built two animal crossings on one of my projects about 15 years ago; they were 8x8 concrete culverts underneath the interstate. Once the road was opened, a graduate student from a local college set up remote cameras like the one in TFA to take photos of the animals that used the culverts.

She took photos of bobcats, a few bears, some foxes and raccoons, and one surprised hunter just as he looked up at the camera...

I went to highway-overpass.com and all it did was link me back here.

I've had two run-ins with Bobcats here in Orange County CA.

[image from ts2.mm.bing.net too old to be available]

You know how a domesticated cat gets psycho eyes and stalks you from time to time? Well, the Bobcats I've met generally look like that 80% of time. The younger one I ran in to in Irvine was the cutest thing ever as it stalked and munched insects and faced off with a wandering crayfish with huge claws . I wanted to keep all my fingers so I didn't approach the cat, even though it didn't seem to mind sharing the creek shore with my buddies and I as we drank beer and shot our air guns.

There's a friggn golf course there now.

Sad to say, my husband owned a lynx...turned into a rug, when I met him. The rug was almost 30 years old by then, and molting badly. It was still cool, with the head whole and rising off the flattened body to trip you as you walked by in the night. I threw it out when most of the fur had fallen off.

Did they forget a zero at the end there? Because my little corgi-mix mut of a dog weighs in at around 25lbs and that cat looks like he could turn him into meowmix.
