I own a Beretta 92FS. And 9 high cap magazines.
The Hydrashock rounds really make all the difference. They are like flying ashtrays.

In a related story, Drew from has been arrested under the patriot act for aiding terrorist by making metal detector proof handguns.

He is currently being tortured.

I think the word "working" here is a bit misleading... When I read that i started thinking "wouldn't the charge from the powder blow the legos apart?..."
2001-11-12 1:38:41 AM
Somehow this takes me to
2001-11-12 1:42:23 AM
Topple == luser
2001-11-12 1:47:06 AM
Add Legos to the list of banned objects from airplanes.
2001-11-12 2:02:59 AM
Thats nothing, I'm not impressed- I once built a missle launcher out of tinker toys.
2001-11-12 2:08:39 AM
beh. nuthin beats a good ol' fashioned spud gun.
2001-11-12 2:15:20 AM
why is the link not accessible? what is the point of having a link I cannot get to?
2001-11-12 2:23:18 AM
Zero Cool: To annoy your egocentric as&s;s
2001-11-12 2:23:50 AM
Whoa... how did that happen?
2001-11-12 2:35:05 AM
so the trick is to make a link that people "try" to click on and then laugh at them, cause they are the stupid ones?
2001-11-12 2:40:46 AM
Botsuraku_Hato: Buy a .45ACP and you won't NEED high cap magazines.
2001-11-12 2:55:54 AM
hmm... I love Legos, and I love guns. Excuse me while I get some tissue. ;)
2001-11-12 4:02:58 AM
Zero Cool, what Groman is trying to say is that the net does not revolve around you. Just because a link is broken or momentarily inaccessable does not mean someone is trying to trick you or it's a stupid link.
2001-11-12 4:14:27 AM
Link is still farked, but I don't see any conceivable way of making a gun souly from lego's. Recoil would blow the gun to bits and muzzle flash would melt the plastic.

Perhaps a single shot, single use pistol, but I wouldn't bet my life on it.
2001-11-12 4:33:05 AM
Gear Jammer,
You would be betting your life on it if you would use it, even on a practice range.
2001-11-12 4:33:25 AM
I managed to get through to the site. It's not a usable firearm, but it is a pretty cool working model.

From site:

"True semi-auto pistols are double/single action because the blowback of a shot will cause the slide to retract, thus automatically cocking the hammer for another shot (hence, semi-automatic). This process turns the double action into single action, but the only way to create this
process is to have bullets that can actually be fired."

Note last sentence.
2001-11-12 4:39:49 AM
Appie: I wouldn't use a plastic gun to shoot anything other than bb's.

For real shooting I'll stick with my real Beretta .40, Colt .45, or Colt Python .357
2001-11-12 4:52:31 AM
Fb- actually said sometihng of worth, comical, not trolling... wow! I was thinking the same thing actually, couldn't a terrorist just take a lego set on the plane, build a gun, and then pretend like it was real? It does look fairly accurate from a distance I'm sure.
2001-11-12 4:53:29 AM
I'm not big on guns or anything but goddamn that is pretty fu.cking cool
2001-11-12 5:05:33 AM
Wot kind of gun powder goes into a bullet for a lego-automatic?

Wizz Fizz?
2001-11-12 6:40:11 AM
too bad the pics are all CG, not real
2001-11-12 6:51:44 AM
Romulusnr: You know now that you mention it the pik I saved of the gun does look suspiciosly CG. One would wonder why if this guy had really made this gun (which does not fire actual bullets or wizards for that mater) why he would make CG graphics to display it rather than just snap a photo.
2001-11-12 7:13:11 AM
Having grown up with that documentary about that crack commando unit who escaped from a military stockade after being found guilty of a crime they didn't commit, I find this rather unimpressive.
2001-11-12 7:16:02 AM
Mcguyver could have done this out of lincoln logs and duct tape
2001-11-12 7:28:48 AM
He would of just used ductape and smoked the lincoln logs.
2001-11-12 7:42:50 AM
I was also thinking the few pics that came up looked CG to me.
2001-11-12 7:51:41 AM
And now people take this opportunity to brag about high-powered guns they may or may not own. Yawn.
2001-11-12 8:05:40 AM
Flakeloaf: I wasn't bragging, just making a coment in response to Appies. If I were bragging the list would have been a bit longer. Ok now I'm bragging.
2001-11-12 8:14:31 AM
OK, the pictures aren't real, and the gun doesn't really fire.

I've got a working porsche, I made it out of my erector set.

Heh, I said erector.
2001-11-12 8:17:46 AM
Seriously though I do own several fire arms. No I don't think that makes me Barney bad ass. I simply enjoy the shooting sports. When I was a kid I was not particularly adept at other sports. Then I discovered rifle shooting and archery. I became quite good at both and still enjoy them to this day.
2001-11-12 8:46:11 AM
OK, does this mean, under California's zero-tolerance program, that my kid will get suspended from school and arrested if he brings Legos from home?

And what about a 30 day waiting period to buy Legos?
2001-11-12 9:02:07 AM
farking farked
2001-11-12 10:39:03 AM
I'll just stick to my REAL 9mm. Beretta.Toys are for kids or purple fat ass monsters.
2001-11-12 10:40:55 AM

2001-11-12 11:47:16 AM
All right. Stick em up. Slowly take the polly pocket our of your lunch box and drop it on the playground. NOW!!!!
2001-11-12 11:48:54 AM
And all along we were worried that they were just choking hazards! Damnit LEGO, fark you and fark K'NEX
2001-11-12 11:53:28 AM
Did anyone grab pictures of this while the link was working? If so, can they please post them?
2001-11-12 12:08:45 PM
Huh huh... Erector... Huh huh... Huh.
2001-11-12 12:20:15 PM
Gear Jammer,

Good call. I love my Colt Series '70 Government, and if he could make a 1911 style pistol out of legos, I'd buy it! :D
2001-11-12 12:23:30 PM
For anyone who can't view the link, it's not a REAL gun that you make. First off, those little round cylinder pieces that they use as the barrel? Yeah, they're solid, so a bullet passing through them would cause the gun to explode in your hand.

These are instructions to build a Beretta replica that has gears and elastics (from Technic) to make the chamber slide back when you pull the trigger.

It's pretty cool, though. I have a few thousand Lego pieces from back in the day. Methinks I'll be digging them out. :D

2001-11-12 12:26:13 PM
a lot of LEGO fans (see for more lego stuff) use CG Cad stuff to show their creations to 1) show how to build it yourself more easily and 2) may not have a digital camera... it's real, it works, it rocks :)

This site is completely Farked.... SO I mirrored the main page and the Construction page. NO DAT FILES.... Images and pages only. We'll see if we can't help ease the FARK effect as this is a VERY cool page.

Fark On....

2001-11-12 12:29:49 PM
so now I was talking about ME? I made a comment about the fact that the link was good for, what, 5 minutes? by the time I and many others tried to get to it> DEAD.

nothing revolves around "me"? thanks for the revelation.

I may be new, but does that mean you get to be a dick?
2001-11-12 12:31:26 PM
Did anyone get the dats before the site was farked? If so, could you mirror them some where?
2001-11-12 12:35:22 PM
If you have the DAT files please e-mail me, WITHOUT attaching the files to michael*blaz[nospam-﹫-backwards]qapmoc*com and I will mirror them in several places to help with the FARK effect. Let me know if my current mirror gets FARKed and I'll throw another up.

Fark on,
