Strong enough for a man, and Sam likes them too.

Lass: Is it true what they don't wear beneath their kilt?

Lad: Gimme your hand an I'll show ya!

In my old pipe band, we always called removing our underwear "going cammando". I remember for one parade, before stepping off for competiion, about 3 or 4 of us removed our underpants in the middle of the street, and stuffed them in our feather hats. It was an interesting experience to say the least.

Other than that, I never go commando when it's cold and windy, or when I know I'm preforming in front of little children. A stray breeze could esialy scar for them for life, but more importantly can get me arrested.

There was a band on Conan O'brien once where the fiddler was wearing a kilt. He did a jump kick in midair and it turns out he wasn't wearing anything under the kilt. The next day, Conan showed the nation a freeze frame of this guy in midair with "mr. happy" exposed to the entire world. Good times, good times...

But can he do a reading of Bobby Burns?
2001-11-08 01:33:07 AM
I would've guessed that Samuel L. would hang out the bottom of the kilt going commando.

Nice to know not all porn is accurate.

There's nothing worn beneath the kilt.

It's all in perfect working order.

you DID NOT need to tell anyone about that.......

Now I wonder if Sam's kilt is sewn & pleated, or if he has the full 20-ft length of fabric that he folds every time he puts it on.

A real Scotsman folds his own kilt.

That was Ashley McIsaac. Probably spelled that wrong.

Samuel L. Jackson is one of the best actors in the world. Let him wear if a kilt if he wants. Not sure why anyone would see that as interesting. I think this one can be filed under useless.

Badriver72: I'm guessing it's considered "interesting" because most people awe when they hear that an individual, especially one of such fame, doesn't wear knickers, be it under a kilt, or all the time.

Freeballing is heaven, though! I've loved it for years!
2001-11-08 04:28:24 AM
You know what?.... Now that the term "Free Balling" has been used. My question is simple. How could you possibly call the act of not wearing underwear under your jeans or other types of male dress "free balling". Maybe it is ignorance or a lack of understanding but I think the only way you could possible consider yourself free balling is if you are wearing a dress (then their is another term for you)or wearing nothing at all as you go about your daily activities. I don't know and I don't really want to think about it too much.

I dont know how people can manage to go commando, i tried once but big sam and the twins dont like zippers too much...
2001-11-08 08:25:37 AM
Loose khakis and large boxers can approximate a freeballing experience.

"Now the kilt was only for day-to-day wear. In battle, we donned a full-length ball gown covered in sequins. The idea was to blind your opponent with luxury."

(...and after the balloons go up...)

"Ach! 'Tis no more than what God gave me, you puritan pukes!"

Should be marked LAME as in not even worth reading, He's the man but who cares if he wears a kilt, damn get a real story
2001-11-08 09:21:42 AM
I like my kilt, too.

8 yards, kinda difficult to fold, but well worth the trouble. Next to a sarong, it's the most comfortable piece of clothing I've ever worn.
2001-11-08 09:40:13 AM
I prefer the term "sky-clad"

nice ring. Would that be the Penn Ren Fair?
2001-11-08 10:24:19 AM
Kilts are comfortable but I was banned from wearing one at work. The ladies really liked it but the homophobes had an absolute fit.

Nope, last spring during rehearsals for Scarborough Faire, just outside Dallas.

Thanks for the compliment btw, I have a matching set...

Do NOT post ANY pictures from skirtman.org here. I have the site block just in case tho.(it resolves to

3horn: All your base are belong to your kilt...by the way, its a nice look for you.
2001-11-08 11:14:57 AM

nice knees, I'd vote for ya in a bonniest knees contest. And I sure do miss Scarborough, although bein' next to TRF is nice. We're going to the Salado Highland Games this weekend.

Course, unless you wear the kilt 'commando style' as my hubby says, you can't get the pleats to lay correrctly.
2001-11-08 11:39:35 AM
Mac, if the Rogues are there tell 'em I said "hi", and give Janna (Queen Margaret @ Scarborough) a big hug for me...

2001-11-08 11:41:23 AM
Hehe, thanks FLA Chickie, I've worn it a couple times since moving down to Ft Lauderdale, it garnered some odd looks, even at the pub I popped into for a bit...SZtill haven't worn it to work though.

2001-11-08 11:48:01 AM
Consider it done . Wouldn't miss the Rogues for the world... I'll say hi to ya for Janna
2001-11-08 02:28:05 PM
weird looks from norms are part of the reason for wearing a kilt ;)

the hubby and I used to dress up in the garb and go around downtown Dallas. We got pulled in to pose with people quite a bit for pictures.

If it's noo scott - it's craaaaap.
SLJ - being the super bad a$$ that he is - wearing a kilt is wrong on so many levels!
2001-11-08 10:09:58 PM

Nope, it just makes SLJ all that cooler.

This movie sucks. Really. Don't see it even, make that especially, if you think much of Samuel L. Or Meat Loaf (Meat Loaf for God's sake!)
