Good Lord. You're right. He'd better copyright that scream. George Lucas is probably having it tweaked as we speak.

I'm torn between two comments, so I'll post both:

1: Oh, sack up, Nancy. Your shoulder took most of the hit.

The falling down with a "concussion" was a bit of overacting.

Ebert? What do you think?

I couldn't watch it -

I don't know why, I can watch horror movies and scripted/choreographed gore/violence, but I have trouble watching people have real accidents. I start to watch the vid and then stop.

The BF, on the other hand, will watch sporting accidents where guys hit the cross bar of their bike with their crotch, get beaned in the head with a ball, etc., and laugh. I just cringe.

Gonna play it eyes closed just for the scream though.

I didn't laugh until he fell down the hill afterwards.

Okay - yeah heard it, then watched it. Good scream.

As in all such cases, I have to ask: Why, exactly, was this being recorded in the first place?

Psh.. That guy seemed like a Wimp.. I've had plyboard fall and hit me in the head like that.. I think maybe it just suprised him, since it seemed to be a windy day and that caused the suprise plyboard attack

Rules for job sites
1: Do not set things so that they can fall over
2:Never scream like an asian chick doing an anal scene
3:block/disable all cameras

Apparently the plywood in his town is made of razor blades and armor-piercing ammunition. Or he's overacting hideously. Or both, I suppose.

That part was sped up, or did you not notice the cutters twitching as if they were on meth?

Guy needs to toughen up. Plywood isn't that heavy.

Trolling is doing something to elicit an emotional reaction from someone. Posting something moronic and calmly being told why it's moronic isn't successful trolling.

Getting hit in the head with plywood does not qualify as a "real accident".

If the line, "You sir, just got trolled." is supposed to be some sort of ironic joke, then no I didn't. Any joke that requires an explanation or is so esoteric that it goes unnoticed is a poor joke.

I swear, trolls don't even try anymore.

No, my original post about them cutting the board too quickly was a joke. You seem to have taken it too seriously. I swear, people don't have any sense of humour anymore.

Perhaps his father has a history of stuff like this happening to him during home construction projects.

I love how when he falls down the hill he sounds like when you die in Altered Beast

That's not plywood, it looks to be solid wood. Since he was standing up as it was falling down I can see how it might have hurt a bit.
However, this does not in any way excuse that scream.

Sounds about right.

If I were trying such a project, my kids would go with a three camera setup, with a handheld steadycam waiting in the ambulance.

My reputation precedes me...

Well, I thought it was funny. I even had a post typed out to explain to the 'troll'-caller how "we call them 'jokes' 'round these parts, son", but I scrapped it b/c, well, who cares. Apparently, many folks.
