but where does he put his trash?
/ba dum dum tish!

After he rolls the top down to make it look more dumpster-ish, what happens to the internal air flow? Also, I didn't see any insulation - panels or blown.

//some part of me would like to see him attach a to scale hamster water bottle, food dish and wheel....

I love these micro-homes and making dwellings from unusual things, but even I have to say....Oh, hell no!

The electrical system looks like some red neck installed it and most of the house is metal. Becoming part of a live electrical circuit in your very own hot box!

\at least it won't burn down if it catches fire

Stuff it. It's times like these when we should be asking ourselves these questions; do we really need all of this to be happy/survive?

My grandmother recent had a new shed put in by Home Depot and as I walked around inside I couldn't help but realize how easily i could live in it. I don't think my fiancee would be pleased, but I could manage it just fine!

You can come up with much better plans for the same footprint if you just ditch the idea of putting it in a dumpster.

Big deal. I've turned homes into functional dumpsters before, and you don't see me being some sort of Youtube hotshot.

Man turns a dumpster into a functional home

I'm pretty sure a dumpster is already a functional home. Just not a very good one.

I'm working on doing the complete opposite of that.

I wish I had that much free time, wait I do and I do equally pointless things with it to entertain myself. Well okay perhaps a little more conventional and less attention whorey.

Less pretentious than the guy that shot a minute and a half of Youtube video and decided to call it a "film".

I saw that too. The kid thinks he's going to just drag that thing around with him when he goes to college, and then "whereever he goes after that". Uh huh. Let's stop and think about that for a moment. Where exactly are you going to park your trailer-house?

Same here. Now shipping containers are a different story. Those can be turned into a descent place.

...or a terrible sequel to "Tron".

I hear that in the third movie, Kevin Flynn's grandson is going to be living in a capsule hotel, and in the fourth movie, his great-grandson is going to be living in the bottle from "I Dream of Jeannie". You don't want to know about the fifth movie -- it's sponsored by Snack Size Baggies.
