The first one's kinda cool, but still creepy.

As usual nothing on Gawker is original, here is the actual stuff from the vendor:

Pretty nice...

I expected a necklace of heads.

Yeah-- it's an article about the stuff she makes. It lists her name and has a link to her website.

I'm pretty sure nobody was under the impression that these were original Gawker items.

So based on your logic a website sucks that posts & talks about other websites, products, and stories? Then we should all stop posting articles to Fark, because we didn't "originate" whatever it is we're talking about.

I live with my mom

nothing says arts major project like this, and a few screws in the barbie/ken eye sockets.

It's weird how cutting a Barbie doll up gives the pieces a certain sexuality that the original doesn't have.

NSFW, really? Some chopped-up doll parts?

Le sigh.

#7 is HILARIOUS! I would totally wear that.

Somehow I feel this would be disrespectful unless Barbie was treated like the Buffalo. They must use every part of the Barbie.

Dexter seemed to like it. Just leave it in the freezer.

I'm pretty sure I didn't want someone at work seeing me look at that. Better safe than sorry.

Any boss or co-worker who would object to that really needs to get their mind out of the sewer. They're Barbie dolls, not inflatable farktoys

I still prefer blood diamonds. Nothing says I love you like exploiting child labor and financing genocide for a piece of charcoal that is neither rare nor particularly indestructible and has a worse resell value than your average laptop. If you are looking for a partner that is easily manipulated and deceived nothing works better than diamonds.

I can't fathom a workplace where this would be nsfw. I wouldn't last more than a couple of hours.

Wise_Guy: I'm pretty sure nobody was under the impression that these were original Gawker items.

I didn't claim that they were dishonest about it. Some people here don't like giving clicks to Gawker, because they ADD NOTHING but insipidness. No analysis, no thought, no insight, no new information. It's boring.

Pawn takes the King: So based on your logic a website sucks that posts & talks about other websites, products, and stories?

No. Gawker is a special kind of suck. The point of this kind of link is to look at the cool/weird stuff, not to read the dumb (but original) article like other links. Going to the source saves us the trouble. If you're not interested in that, then you can still click on the link, no one is stopping you.

Plus you can't make idiotic comments like yours at Gawker, you have to publicly link them to your google, disqus, facebook, etc accounts. So fark has that going for it.
