Uhhm, why would you WANT caffeine? You'd get to so uncomfortable after not too long, you'd want to maximize your tiredness so you can sleep as much as possible....

Or at least, I would.

Who do they appoint to go to bed with us? Do we have a selection of prime young attractive female candidates to choose from?

I think NASA's definition of "volunteer" must be: "someone who is willing to go through 45 days of sheer hell and agony for a little money".

No farking way. Now, I'll go spend a month IN SPACE for $11/hour. Sure.

I'd love this if they'd sedate me and had a physical therapist to ensure my muscles don't atrophy. I'd shed weight, have seven grand and _finally_ get a good month's sleep.

"The only real surprise was that significantly more men than women expressed interest, Wilson said"

Is it just me or does anyone else find that *not* so surprising ?

$10762 per every 4 Weeks, you have to remember there is OVERTIME! more than 40 hours per week constitutes overtime.

The thing I don't is why they plug Northern California in the article, like it is somehow superior to other regions of the country.

So what exactly is there to do? Is there a TV in the room? Computer? Newspaper/magazines? I could do it with some entertainment, but if I'm just laying there staring at the ceiling/floor *for a month*... Oh who am I kidding? I'd still do it.

The article doesn't mention bathing. Do you not get to bathe for a month? If not, I feel sorry for those scientists.
