Abortion is legal, polygamy is banned and women commonly wear bikinis on the country's Mediterranean beaches. Wine is openly sold in supermarkets and imbibed at bars across the country.

So what you're telling me is that Tunisia is less restrictive than Utah.

I am loving the verbal gymnastics our Republican mouth-pieces have to perform to somehow make the case for Revolution = Bad because Islam will enter government yet have to skirt around the issue of religion in our government all at the same time convincing their audience that Muslims hate us for our freedums and that Obama is simultaneously destroying America but not putting his nose enough into these situations.

/What's the odds Tunisia has universal health care?

Ha! Turns out they have public and private healthcare and is the best in North Africa, with exception to, get this, Libya.

Yep, they also have legal abortion and a planned parenthood program country-wide. ~60% of the women use contraceptive.

It is the Domino Theory. We cannot allow Tunisian brothels to fall! We shall draw a line in the sand and I shall personally stand behind it. Just behind it. Well, up the stairs, in said brothel. Preferably in the same room with an olive skinned Mediterranean beauty who doesn't know the difference between 1 dollar American and 10 dollar American.

The few Tunisians I've met seemed more like Italians or Greeks than Arabs. They like party and crash their mopeds.

Think I'll take my chances with our broken health care system here.

And I've had an Indian Doctor of Internal Medicine.
I'm not speaking of the people being incompetent. It's the infrastructure, or lack of, that they work in in their native country.
Wonder why your dermatologist practices medicine in Canada and not Tunisia?
