DaCricket: Benucio: I thought those Baby on Board "magnets" were suction-cup things.

Shhh. No telling!

They were magnets at first. but Babby ate the magnets so they switched to suction cups instead. Babby doesn't like the taste of suction cups.

While I'm at it, methinks there is a fifty-somethin mile aqueduct servicing NYC, and an even longer one for LA.

Indeed. Without the Mulholland Aqueduct or New York City Water Tunnels #1-3, neither city would exist.

Jedekai: Subby is a blithering idiot.

Either that or that was the joke (s)he was making. I certainly see plenty of Baby on Board magnets (& stickers) all the time.

Kinan: What is interesting is the article fails to note one huge feature this will provide for all phones, much more battery life.
Since the cell sites are so much closer together a lot less power is required from the cell phone to transmit to the cell tower. This directly translates to much greater battery life.

It's near the bottom:
Analyst Francis Sideco of research firm iSuppli pointed out a surprising consumer benefit of smaller cells: better battery life in phones.

FloydA: Syphilis_Smile: I wanted to yell at some douche with a baby on board sign last night, actually.

We all get unexplained urges sometimes, but I must say that one is surprisingly specific.

They're the most likely to drive needlessly slow, so i get understandably aggravated by their presence. Don't bring your farking brood out in public until they can look after themselves for fark's sake, i have to make the tax dollars they're going to be mooching off later in life.

/farking midwesterners moving to Jersey, worse than the farking guido invasion of the 1930s.
