It's busy because we aren't...

Reminds me of this neat little proggy I used to have for Windows 3.1. It would take you step by step through the process of building really cool paper airplanes. It was shareware and the unregistered version only had a handful of planes to choose from. I wish I remember what it was called.
2001-10-16 08:01:05 PM
That was my boobies...
Alot less thrilling than I thought it would be...
2001-10-16 08:02:21 PM

By the way pardner, all be Gol' danged if'n he ain't got his own dern place on that World Wide Web gadget.

2001-10-16 08:53:02 PM

"Huzzah" is just about the dumbest goddamn thing to say.
2001-10-16 09:09:23 PM
Yeah, I agree. "Huzzah" is a pretty annoying phrase. The only thing I can think of that's more annoying is "GeorgeBrett"
2001-10-16 09:47:28 PM
We used to make the diamond shaped paper *Poppers*, anyone rememer these?
A fellow class mate in grade school got some scrap wall paper,(from the utility room I suspect...*G*) made one about 1' in length, and swung it in the echoy hallway, made a sound like a firecracker going off!
Sadly, it had ripped right after that.
Ahhhh, those were the days....
Similar to the paper footballs....does anyone remember how to make the poppers?
2001-10-16 09:48:31 PM
How about Wuzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzahuzzzzzzzzzah!
2001-10-16 09:48:31 PM
Some people have no sense of humor when anything involving airplanes comes up. Wait for it... wait for it... nevermind.
2001-10-16 09:59:01 PM
what a crappy server....
2001-10-16 10:07:34 PM
Better than Whitewings?

(Legitimate question since the server has gone tango uniform.)
2001-10-16 10:09:38 PM
Yes, a crappy server indeed.

And Flibbertigibbet, i'm suing you for 350 bux to pay for my monitor. You made me laugh and I spit my juice on it.
2001-10-16 10:17:41 PM
Um... these are all the same airplane (he says after F5ing a billion times).... What a waste of F5.
2001-10-16 10:36:02 PM
I'm in highschool (yay) and there is actually an 'engineering' competition where the contestants build their own paper airplanes and launch em off a balcony at a designated bullseye. Needless to say, a lot of losers werent very creative and pulled this same exact design from various sites. I laughed at em, and made a good ole classic very carefully. Mine actually flew the best and straightest, but was off from the bullseye about 6 inches. I got third place, and the first 2 place people used the same design as me (the classic airplane). Anyway, the moral of the story is that this isnt the best airplane in the world, and it just depends on the launch.

Nice to see our education system is hard at work..
2001-10-16 11:19:36 PM
this sit has been farked!!!!
2001-10-17 12:04:04 AM
when I first saw this link, I was thinking... oh, yeah! A whitewings ad! sadly it wasn't anywhere near as cool as whitewings... damn those were cool. for those who don't know, whitewings were a book of already drawn bi-sections of an airplane on stiff paper that you would cut out and glue together side by side, etc... They flew awesome. I'm gonna buy a book of those!
2001-10-17 12:22:20 AM
Throwing paper planes in school time as part of the cirricullum? And getting awards for it? The only thing I ever got was detention.
2001-10-17 01:01:42 AM
This site works just fine. Be patient you farkers.
If at first you don't succeed......

Mr We82bl8...
Extremist censorship about everything that have connection with the WTC will never make the memory of what happened go away.
Actually, I think it's an insult to those who died there.
It did happen but humor and jokes is one of the best way to try to deal with it, accept it and keep on living. Please realise the power of humor to express sadness, anger or fear.

uh... Except if you think that was not funny, but then that would not be enough to get moderated. (although, yes, it was an easy one.. :) )
