I'd love for more cases like this to be brought to court and won by the would be fathers. I'm tired of hearing about men being forced to pay for kids that aren't theirs. I mean with all the prenups that are getting thrown out these days and marriage looking like a goddamn death trap/financial disaster for any healthy man with a promising career. We need to get a bone thrown to us somewhere in the legal system. DNA tests should be mandatory whenever a child is born.

The logic employed in a lot of these cases is staggering. The legal thinking is that society has a vested interest in not creating bastards. Thus, the courts feel it is better that a man with no biological claim to a child should be forced to provide care for said child rather than let the child have no father at all.

More frighteningly, the courts have ruled that any act a man commits that makes him "appear" to be the father (for example signing the birth certificate) makes him the de facto father, and subject to child support payment.

No you biatch. He's not doing that to his "daughter", he's doing it to you. You're the one who was farking around, not him.

I absolutely despise people like this. Use the kids for any and all advantage and be damned what the fark happens to the kids in the process.

This is why hospitals should do mandatory paternity tests on newborns immediately after birth. People deserve a shot at finding out their parents' medical history but they can't do so if mom misled everybody about who their father is.

My personal favorite was years ago in NC. Two men who had been paying child support for the same kid met in court as the mother was getting the court's permission to move out of state (visitation rights issue - both men were going to court to ask that she not be allowed to move, neither man knew about the other). As it turns out when they did the tests to see who was the father - neither of them was. Both sued to get their cash back.

... and the lesson HERE is, women have had to endure so many lop-sided injustices in the male dominated society that any small financial amount some man has to sacrifice pales in compairison. He did the deed, allowing her to believe he actually cared for her and could have been the father. You're missing the big picture. Someone of the male gender needed to "man up" - so it happened to be this schlep. Don't want to pay?... stop spreading your seed like some irresponsible seminal sprinkler then complain about how the Woman gets pregnant.

If I am not mistaken, I read an article several years ago about a hospital that did DNA testing for all babies born. They stopped doing it because there was such a high percentage of men who turned out not to be the real father. Think it was something like 25% or so. Too lazy to google it.

tl/dr: women are dirty whores

why don't you guys stop farking women, if you're so disgusted with them? You'd never have any of these problems.

Oh no, anything but THAT. You make your own beds and put the crazy inbetween the sheets, and then you're surprised when something bad happens.

Hey stupid, my post was about men blaming every single woman on earth because they stuck their dick in crazy. And somehow you changed it to my personal problems--but if this man has personal problems, it's EVERY SINGLE WOMAN ON EARTH'S fault. I don't blame every man on earth for my problems--just one of them. So what's your problem? Can't you get even the crazy ones to touch your dick? Somehow I can see how that happened.

Too bad the legal system is skewed towards the woman in this case. So there's the little life lesson, get a DNA test immediately after you take the child home. Cause you know, there have been cases of babbies being mixed up in the nursery...

When my daughter was born, we got to see the hospital staff dance around a bit when they thought my wife had cheated on me. My wife thought her blood type was "B", it's her fathers blood type and for some reason where she was born (Beirut) there is an assumption that blood type follows the fathers line, always. My wife had never bothered to look it up, because she'd grown up being told it was "B". I'm type "O" myself. My daughter was born very premature and the subject of possibly giving blood came up.

Then we found out that my daughter was type "A".

Two different nurses danced around the issue, trying to misdirect me into thinking it was a genetic quirk (I have a degree in biology, so I knew something was wrong). They were sure my wife had cheated and were covering for her.

After a few minutes, a doctor overheard us and grabbed the chart and discovered that my wife was actually type "A" herself. Mystery solved.

/Yes, I saw the chart myself
//Even at that moment, didn't doubt her.
///Still married, it'll be 8 years in two weeks.
////Sister-in-law thought she was "B" too, turned out to be "AB"
//Won't get a transfusion in Lebanon without seeing the bottle myself.

Do you know how loud the womens groups and feminists would biatch and moan if something like this were proposed?

Can't sucker a man for money for 18 years if you know for sure he's not the father. Plus, after he finds out he was cheated on, he isn't likely to stick around and be the mealticket.
