I hope everyone's alright.

Except the shooter. I hope he gets shot to death.

Unfortunately, he's right at a hospital, so the odds of his dying are down.

Demetrius: A hospital? What is is?

It's a building with a lot of beds, but that's not what's important here.

Jacqueline Billy, a nurse who works in respiratory care, said she was on the seventh floor when the shooting took place. She got in an elevator, accidentally went up to the eighth floor, and when the elevator doors opened, police with guns drawn ordered her to shut the door.

"I was petrified, the door opened and there are a bunch of guns. You never expect that," she said.

Anyone else lol at that?

/Hope the doctor makes it though

(just kidding, the show's good enough that I'll still watch and enjoy it. I know how the Stringer/Omar feud is resolved at the end of the season too, but it's still gonna be crazy to see it happen.)

Correlation != Causation, BTW.

The way the headline is worded it implies that "lockdowns and evacuations" cause "shootings and hostage situations".

It's well known that if you ask a group of people to leave an area at least a few will pull out guns and start shooting each other.

The Wire isn't some shiatty Shamamalamadyan movie that only exists for the "twist". You could know the entire plot of every episode in advance and still be blown away by it.
