The funny thing is, this is only half satire.

Poor choice by to post this one. They'll hear it from some people, and it's not a good time to be publically berated for printing or stating ANYTHING about September 11th that could be taken as offensive by someone.

Look what happened to Bill Maher.

Heh I was making satire about it before the first tower fell.

It's hard to find anything funny about the WTC shiat. I just don't have the heart to do it.

That chick from FoxNews is hot. Too bad the picture they used was stretched a wee bit.

Here's my shot at satire:

In our defense, the piece was a satire of the media not the tragic events of Sept. 11. I'm just getting sick of constantly hearing about the cleanup 24/7. As always, the media will take full advantage of any ratings material to its fullest. That's the way that I see it. Sorry if anyone took it the wrong way (MisterSym).

Nx: Not taken the wrong way, Nx. I'm one of the few that isn't really offended by much, which is why I can continue to post comments on I was just making a prediction, but have been proven wrong: no one has made any comments saying it was offensive.

I, personally, don't hear much anything about the cleanup in the news anymore, and am a little disappointed in the networks for not mentioning it more. It's a bit sad that the cleanup crews were so quickly forgotten after the first week. I hope New York City hasn't forgotten to continue their moral support for the cleanup crews.

It's hard to write something funny about an event such as this. That's why we only did one WTC-related article on The Daily Bull, concerning Counter-Strike gamers kicking terrorist ass in record numbers. We were constantly second-guessing ourselves, wondering if people would take it the wrong way or not.

Fortunately, we received fairly good feedback about it.

There's nothing wrong with this article, and if someone complains about it, they are a poophead. :)
